Hey everyone, How difficult is it to change the top strut mounts when they wear out, to replace them with say the yozza v6 replacment items? just trying to get an idea??
Cheers in advance John
Ive got the same thing! I remember reading a thread the other day about top strut mounts wearing out.. apperently yozzasport sell replacement v6 rubber mounts for a tenner?
Hey james yeah that was me! yep stealth on it.. What you got on yours it sounded very loud looks good too.. ive seen you in the two rivers complex before but didnt get to flash the last time, saw you in my rear view then and poped my hazards on for a sec to say hello..
for over two years now i've got approx 35mpg and thats urban driving with a little 'play' time as well.. with a zorst and filter.. seems about right with a 172/182 tbh..
Hey saw you pulling out of the car park by the beach, as i had just parked up and was on foot.. was weird as your from round my area - sunbury/hanworth.. recognised the monaco and turini's combo..
After having owned both a clio williams 1 and now the 172 cup (both standard), I would say the williams pulled away off the line quicker but the cup picks up pace at a frighting rate.. both highly enjoyable cars and yes the williams is a legend I still miss it now..
Nice RB, had little sprint with you round to the A30 then you went back up the M25 poss chasing that CTR? good fun had by all thanks for the hazard flashes!!
Cheers JJS

Fred - in your opinion should this be going back to reno with a request for it to be done under warrenty? ive had nothing but trouble from them as is got so sick of it have taken it to a garage to be sorted..
Have extended warrenty till 2009
Fred - im not attempting it myself and yes i would rather leave it but the leak is bad enough to be getting into the spark plugs and causeing them to corrode..
Not too sure i thought that too fmp , but was told when you take the rocker cover off the cam is held with rail which uses the same bolts so if those bolts arent there, there is a chance the cams could roll i just wanted to check before doing anything.. better safe than..u know?
Hiya guys,
quick question on a 53 plate 172cup when you take off the rocker cover to change the gasket do you need something to stop the cams rolling over? as i think its a singlr rail that holds the cams down (cheapest way= Renault) or if im wrong then some advice please??
Thanks alot...
Hey everyone,
Right if anyone can help i'd appreciate it.. 53 plate 172cup 28450 on the clock is running very strangely, idles at 600 RPM and seems to have lost power alot also there is a strange 'raspberry' sound from the exhaust... was serviced by renault kingston 4.5k ago.. not sure what is...
