ok cool, thanks.
Just want to make sure I get it right and don't miss any main spuspension upgrades, will probably work on this in the next month or so.
I suppose brand of springs comes down to personal preference within reason right?
I am not overly keen on going drastically low as country...
Thanks for the advice, what's the reason no to go for powerflex, are they more for track use?
So for the ideal set up, what are we looking at?
Springs, shocks, bushes, RARB, wishbones (?)
Just want to know before I start buying stuff, I see a lot of people on here just ask for the cheapest...
More B roads than anything else, probably wouldn't opt for coilovers.
Was thinking Eibach springs, standard shocks for now (just pick some new ones up) unless there are any recommended, then getting powerflex bushes with a whiteline ARB, new to it so was after some tips on a good set up.
If you went with a different colour alloy, you may want to get a couple of plastics done as well or maybe the engine cover done the same colour. Just so they don't look out of place.
I personally like the 'out there' colour alloys but would not get it done myself.
Maybe see if somebody can...
So I have been looking at a few different options to springs/coilovers, uprated bushes and shocks.
Just wanted to have an idea of user's ideal set up of suspension.
Looking at getting a RARB as well.
Pictures and posts please?
So I finished work today and had been collecting a few bits over the week to get my flamer cleaned as I have had her for a 1 and a half now, I thought it deserved it :D
Never used a clay bar before, or unbelievably wax on any of my cars. So this was my first attempt, had my mate guide me and...
Fitted a new stereo, cs metal tax holder (nailed it second time) and revived some plastics.
Tomorrow, new number plate, splitter and clay bar, going to try and squeeze in a headlight restoration as well :D
Only got it because it was free, I will post some pictures to show how it works but I don't have a very high bar on this one.
Got some decent wax and clay bar kit though :D
Bought this last night as it was 3 for 2 in halfords on cleaning products.
I was going to follow the guide with the wetndry and scratch x but they did not have any in there.
What are the reviews on this like?
Cheers
Reg plate LED lights.
Could somebody link me for the right ones please?
I have done a search and seen that for my 2002 172, it looks as though I need 245 LED bulbs for my reg and 501 bulbs for interior?
Cheers

Agreed but in my eyes, if you buy a full miltek exhaust or have a set of expensive coilovers, I would rather have that piece of mind that they are going to be replaced in the event of an accident.
Just a piece of mind thing but if you have a near enough standard vehicle or modifications that...
