Welcome to the club, good starting car for you to work on and learn with :)
If you find you are doing a lot to the car and it becomes a 'project' stick a project thread up, good for opinions and help.
Good luck

Re: Newbie From Coventry!
£350 absolute bargain.
Welcome to the club, first thing I would do is get a snappy steering wheel refurb :D
If you use the search bar and type 'snappy' it is the first one on there, you will see how good they are!

Another question on suspension,
Just ordered some cooksport springs and after a set of 172 cup shocks.
I was wondering, would normal 172 shocks be ok?
I mainly drive on B roads, not for track use.
Cheers
Thanks mate, I will get those ordered first thing tomorrow :D
Read really good things about them.
£120 as well, that is really reasonable.
Another quick question instead of staring a new thread, what shocks do you reckon.
A few people have said about cup shocks?
Just looking at getting a set of springs for my ph2 clio 172.
After some opinions, seen some 40mm Apex lowering springs for a reasonable price, wondered what these would be like?
Would the ride be too harsh? Would it be too low with a set of 16" turinis on them?
Cheers in advance
Is it an easy job to change the fuel sensor?
Think mine is shot as the trip computer doesn't tell me how far till empty and I was driving this morning when the petrol gauge went into red and did not have a light come on to refuel.
Thanks
Ok cool, thanks for the help.
Something like this? Just a straight swap?

Just bought a set of Turini Speedline 16"
Could anybody link me to a set of nuts that I would use, I guess I can just put my standard 172 bolts in but I would like some new coloured ones.
Are they called a D1 fitment or something?
Hi all,
After a little help, I bought my clio last month, there seems to be a growing squeak, not noise wise but frequency.
I will try and explain it, to start with, I think it may be a bush or suspension related.
It is coming from the left of the car, cannot seem to pinpoint it as it only...
warwickstingray Living in the sticks is good most of the time driving wise but I went to pick up some wheels last night and after a 4 hour trip, when you know you have got 20 minutes of long bendy b roads to contend with @ 2 in the morning, it is quite tiresome.
