If you're 6ft tall then you'll be fine, I'm the same height and have no problems. There are quite a few 6ft+ owners who also have no issues in a Clio. Sure it would be nice to sit a bit lower, but that could be said for most cars tbh.

That sounds like it's reduced the flex between the lower arms, much like it did on my MK2 Golf when I fitted a front "lower strut" brace as it was called. That bolted directly where the arms are attached though. Made a massive difference to turn in.
