TV then Help did this on the old remotes ;) If it's wifi it won't work very well mounted sideways we've found. IR is fine you just point to the wall the side it's on or face it up to the ceiling. When we mounted behind a TV with the router 2 metres away it just did not work at all.

I've never scratched my pain either and it gets put in holes in the ceiling, covered in plasterboard dust, dropped and it's always fine. With a watch though it's always going to hit stuff when putting hands in small holes and AV racks too I think.

Buy what Goodj has linked, spending £1200 on a 2.1 system can get you a great 5.1 system. Then buy a Sonos Connect and plug it into your amp.

Playbar is £600 though and it doesn't do surround sound unless you add 2 Play:1s at £169 each! Nothing beats a proper surround sound system

I saw one on HUKD at Argos for £179 with Forza Horizon 3 and 2 other games.
