theres at least 3 other mk1's out there that have been sprayed white. personally i think its not as nice as silver it used to be, certainlly will be harder to sell!! that white mk2 (looks like a render) looks MUCH better!!!

i dont understand why people think 20k is too much? an ultra low mileage 06 plate is easily worth 18k, so why is a rarer, desirable colour one not worth 20K? as said glenns one sold for 19.5k, was one of the quickest sales of a vee ive seen. others can be up for months before they go. if...

haha, i reckon 100 is possible on a big hill with a bit of wind and patience!! you can always squeeze a bit more out of them in the right conditions, i managed to get a phase 1 saxo vtr to 130 before, book claimed it would do 116 tops.

i think based on the parts it was missing it could of been in some sort of a ding on the front left corner? cant be sure as nothing showed up on the HPI. The body work is spot on so someone has spent a fair few ££ if it did have an off!!

of course its biased, but its also true! ;-) as cat171 mentioned, its all about condition. some mk1s are over 7 years old now, some have 10+ owners and havent been cared for properly through out there whole history so are selling for less. a silver mk1 vee was up for 19K a few months back...

is it holding back like its chocking? have you done many short journeys in it recently? it could be that the cat's full of crud. take it for a decent blast at high revs on a motorway/dual carriaage way to clear it out and see how it feels after that.

Mk1 prices have been about 5k lower than MK2 prices for a few years now. Surely thats worth considering one for? If you have driven them both you soon learn theres not a huge amount different in the two. If anything, Mk1's will be worth more in the future. History time and time again proves...

agreed!!! bring it to a v6 meet before it goes too so the other owners can have a look over it too! :) might find a potential buyer from them. to the right buyer i think its worth more than 8k. Its just finding that buyer!!

as much as i like the 197's id never swap a vee for one!! id have a 197 as my daily drive and vee for toy though.

Ive seen 4-5 other white mk1 vees before, theres quite a few vee trophys that are white too. Geek fact, there was actually one original white mk1 made by TWR that was used for crash testing.

Ap front brakes came as standard on all vee's.
