the turbo 2 was 160bhp 0-60 - 7.7secs there was an option to upgrade to 180 or 200 bhp when you brought it though. bad ass motors, classic 80s!!

i adisagree about saying that people who only buy a mk2 if there in the market!! why? the mk1 is the original!! in 10 years time the mk1 will be worth more (comparing similar condition and mileage). look at mk1 cortinas vs mk2, s1 rs turbos vs s2. theres not a huge difference between the two...

if you can afford it comfortably, HELL YES. if you cant...then dont!! it will drink fuel, bit the only scary serving bill is cambelt, find one thats had that done and you have very good value for money. and LOL at nothing special to drive!! WTF!! its one of the most fun and engaging cars out...
