Personally i think changing the colour of the wheels will slightly devalue your car and will definately make it harder to sell. Its extremely hard to match the OEM finish so may never look the same if you try to change it back.
Ive seen all sorts of different wheel colours over the years and...
i have some pictures of sunflowers from over the years and can see 2 registration plates that arent listed in this thread.
Y995XNH & Y356PDM, both registration plates appear to still be active.
No more info than that sadly!
ph2 v6s are for girls!! the raw ph1 is were its at!! :rasp:
to be honest, they are basically the same car. the ph2 is the finished article, but does cost 4k+ more for an equivalent condition example. you wouldnt be disapointed with either.
dont believe the negative comments you read about...
priced about right, a few grand less and it would be a bargain, thats dealer prices though & does include a major service. its looks pretty clean!
not keen on the wrapped side pods or the anodized bolts, but thats easy enough to sorted.
its missing its tool kit from the boot.
Vee does very well! agree the vid is a bit boring, but the article in the mag is pretty good.
v6 did 1.31.1
meg 250 cup did 1.29.9
for reference when they took out the clio 200 cup, it lapped in 1.32.0 ...who says a v6 isnt quick!!
also, the v6 video is quieter as the engine is further...
love that 5!! apparantly its not a real maxi, its a turbo 2 with some maxi body panels. would love to have that as a toy, but... it is alot of money compared to what others have sold for.
Power to weight, it must seriously shift.
The photos used are at least a couple of years old so that...
whilst that LY rep is one of the best reps ive seen (theres a red ph2 rep which is quite good too), to the trained eye, it instantly looks like a rep. the side pods, wheels and sunroof complete give it away and to me it just looks naff, which is a shame for the effort that has gone into it.
let...
Nice!!
Where did you get it from? What condition was it in? Tell us more, would love to hear about it and would be great to see pics!
the only one ive heard of with throttle bodies before is this one, doesnt happen to be yours does it?
If they were both sat next to each other, standard for standard and it wasnt about money, it would be hard choice as ive experienced the v6 and would love to try the R26.R
If it was my cash, it would 100% go on the v6.
sadly not, sold it at the start of the summer, miss having one massively and looking to get another when i can.
they are such a pleasure to own and experience.
its a trophy race car, but been registered as a 1.1 so it can compete/be driven on the road i assume. very slightly different to the standard trophy, has headlights so they must of added the loom for them etc.
wonder how it runs if the power is at 8800rpm, probably wouldnt want to drive it...
He paid 7k for it, Which IMO was a steal. Id read the thread on the v6 forum if you are interested. The seller is a knowledgable and upfront bloke. No service history and cambelt over due is the only real bugbear. Worth remebering that some Non cat-d's have been changing hands for 10k recently!
