Ph2 v6
Ohlins suspension
cromadora trophy wheels
rear bumper cut out exposing exhaust
evo engine & gearbox (apparantly this fits with a little adapation!)
lots of cooling for turbo!!!
flocked dash
mark fish roll cage
recaro polepositions
stripped rear with perspex bulkhead
should be able to get...
its not a trophy, just a trophy rep. has standard engine/gearbox etc.
love this car, its been done properly!! im not keen on the chequered roof, but i love everything else about it. would be a proper hoot.
love the cromadoras and the exposed engine/bulkhead window.
tidy!!!!! i like the ph2 spoiler on it. nice work.
the janspeed boxes are great, will sound great with it on. the cabin noise isnt much different to what you have now, but they make a real nice raspy sound.
the car has been up for sale for about 2 years. there was a thread on it on here somewhere from where someone had been to see it at the last dealership that was trying to sell it.
it was said to be in a sorry state.
haha, mate i was ready and waiting this morning, 7.50 came and went, then i remembered you were off and legged it to the garage!!! lol! luckily the theres not much traffic with half term!
they are all interchangeable. the only prob is finding them and getting someone who knows what to do to set it up for you.
mine has ph2 gearbox and ph2 inlet plenum etc, was expensive to do, but it will out accelerate a standard ph2 now ;)
if you can afford a ph2, then get a ph2, its the finished article and the extra touches are a nice bonus.
that said, they are both as special as each other. The PH1 just has a crappy interior, it is however the original, rarer in the uk (by about a 100 cars), lighter and the rawer of the two cars.
still has some cosmetic damage to be repaired looking at the photos.
the damage that caused it to be cat d was to the rear bumper and boot lid, nothing too major.
still cheapish for a rare colour.
good price, great car.
being an import doesnt have a noticable effect on the prices at all.
some of the imports have had trackers fitted by owners anyway.
£8500 is pretty damm cheap for the very low mileage!
nah its not being replaced with another car, we have another already and i dont use it for work.
i completely agree with your point, i will miss it and it will be heartbreaking to see it go, but i cant see another way to raise the cash without selling it.
Theres also the fact that i would...
I tired it too and 100% agree. Its fine when its cold outside, still need the windows down though!
like this one thats sat in my garage? ;-)
It does cut out a fair bit of the sound still with the clear cover on, but looks tidy!!
eh? what are you basing that on?!!!
Never heard/seen/experienced anyone laughing at one in 2 years of ownership.
re handling, i personally think the 1*2's handle better, but thats prob cos they are easier to drive.
I took the vee for a covers off spin today and took some photos of the bay, might be of intrest to the petrol heads on here!
I love the sound/noise/experience with out the covers, its just so raw and nuts. bit warm mind, but with the windows down and in this colder weather is spot on.
Some...
At the fly, generally between 205-220. Ph2's generally between 235-250.
I say generally, just like 1*2's you get the odd good one, but ive never heard of a standard one making actual book power.
i think mike summed it up pretty well there.
standard vs standard theres basically nothing in it between ph1 and ph2 in terms of straight line speed thanks to the extra 60 odd kgs of the ph2. its the ph2s gearing that makes the biggest difference to acceleration. the gearbox ratios are closer...
Cheers mate, its been good to spend some decent time in your 182 to get a feel for what they are like! Very capable cars indeed.
Talking of which, go and fire her up!
