If it is such a cheap fix and im sure your being honest, the "its an easy fix but i dont have the time" comes across as "its a bloody nightmare, will cost an arm and a leg, and even then i'm unsure if it will work".
if its a simple fix, fix it and then it will sell for decent money.
no one...
one of the coolist cars ever made!!
only ever seen one real one on the road, i went past one on the inside lane of the M6 about a year ago. It was red, which i understand there were only 4 of! noted the reg number checked when i got home, sure enough it was a real one!
saw this rep a few...
has another little mod now to show off the tuned engine, bit louder inside the cabin with it on, but i love it! (dont worry original engine covers are still intact!)
Ive seen the car in the flesh, its really nice & well looked after, very rare in that spec.
I think if he took the spoiler off it would suit the car better.
The owner is on v6clio.net
It is a geniune 297bhp and its pretty highly modded to a top standard. Good value really considering the price of Motec.
I believe the cams/exhaust are where the majority of power has come from, considering most mk2s are ~240bhp, 297 is a very good figure!
Glad to read the positive response to the splitter! I wanted it more for function than looks, the car feels noticably more stable at higher speeds.
I do think it improves the look of the car also though!
thought it would be cool to take some snaps of the vee outside the infamous "updown court" the 70 million self proclaimed "worlds most expensive house"
here she is parked on the marble heated driveway!
i think so craig, james sold his old mk1 for 11ish a few months ago, so the good ones still command the premium.
the 12-13k mk1s are now 10-11k
the 10-11ks are now 8-9k
of course theres the odd bargain, but you do tend to find you get what you pay for.
you would do well to get 10k for it if its registered.
Although i dont know if its confirmed if its damage repaired or not?
either way, 8k for it would be worth thinking about! would proceed with extreme caution if it has been damaged repaired though, could easily cost alot more to get to...
yeah actually it is a french plate. you got me questioning it now!!!
i found the pic on v6passion a while back, they claimed it was "vert orion" on there and i took it as gospel.
imo its worth changing the clutch with the cambelt at the 5 years as the next time the engine will be taken out is at 10 years old...the clutch might be dead before then...
for the sake of a few hundred quid you might aswell change it whilst your there, instead of having to take the engine out...
lol!! its not as if they ph1 & ph2 make a difference sound!!
its basically the same damm car!!
and no, neither of the are bad to drive, they are great fun!
i reckon you would do well in a mk2 v6 to hit the book figure 14.2s on a quarter mile.
id be amazed if a standard vee could keep up with a supercharged 172. Be intresting to watch though.
