So you drive a 172 on which in the 3 months you have owned it you've spent more than it is worth on repairs, yet you don't aspire to own an ST because they are crap?
I had a 182 years ago and I can confirm in every possible measurable department, the ST is better.
I've never been a Ford man. But owning this has made me realise they do make some damn good cars.
Mine was £19,980 list. Expensive for a Fieasta imo, although for a little car it is very well equipped.
I've done 3,000 miles in 6 months and I payed for 12,000 a year lol.
I do enjoy it, but going to look into what sir dave posted about giving it back after a year and payin half the remainder on the lease. It isn't anywhere near special enough to look at or drive for the miles I do, i just got...
Anyone else think its abit of a joke how much the console/games need updating? I only play it a couple of times a week maximum but everytime i turn the thing on I'm sat about waiting for updates to download.
Anyone link me to an interior led upgrade bulb kit or give me some links to decent ones? Bought some 501 9 LED bulbs which have worked in the reg plate and footwells but the rest don't really work. Also what is the main bulb in the front? (Not the two map lights which seem to be 501)
Thanks in...
Not really much different to any meet when people drive like idiots (the only meet I've ever been to on here two people crashed), it is just frowned upon and discussed more because people watching the videos can't afford to own the cars in them.
Find that SB is a really rewarding colour to keep clean!

Interior shot. Quite a nice place to sit but not overly impressed with the build quality as I've said before...
Noise imo. Speed is becoming more and more pointless with the amount of speed cameras/speed bumps/ and tbe general state of our roads. Noise can be enjoyes much more than speed can.
Rattles are my main bug bear. Suppose it stems from the dirt cheap plastics that are everwhere. It is probably the norm for new cars in this price bracket, although after coming from an 8 year old Golf I did expect a little better.
Whats everyones opinion on the build quality? I'm only 1300 miles in and not overly impressed if I'm honest. Still a nice little car but I'd be miffed if I'd of payed 20 grand for it tbh.
I think I'm just missing a car with a bit of noise tbh, turbo 4pots sound woefully bad no matter what...
I agree my mileage barely warrants a car tbh but I like having my own transport. Its saving me money while I purchase my first house. Once the two years are up I'm 25 and intend on doing my bike license. The plan is to buy a 600 superbike for the week and a MK2 Focus RS for the garage/weekend.
Just ticked over to 1000 miles. Feels like it is loosening up alot more now and the MPG. Averaging 37mpg which I'm happy with as I only do short trips and barely use the motorway. Certainly alot better than the 17/18 MPG I used to get!

To some people it is quite obviously desirable. But due to my age these sorts of cars mean nothing to me as they are before my time.
Looking at it as a comparison to a 360 (similar price so seems fair enough to me?) I can't see how unless you wanted to make a return on your investment or was...
