Just to have another rant at Pro Line motorsport.
Bought the internal bulkhead 172 set from them. Took nearly a month to arrive after me constantly chasing Mitch to where they were.
Apparently had sent a set through the post that got lost..... Whenever i asked for a tracking number he never...
Thought I would give the Golf R a clean and snowfoamed the clios arse at the same time whilst it was sat on the drive!
Marks handiwork about to be popped in
New crankshaft seal in as she was weeping a little.
Also had the flywheel skimmed off a little and cleaned up.
Been a while since I last posted....
In summer I was on track at Cadwell with a few other clios. Although didn’t end great loosing drive half way through the day. ?
Moment of drive disappearing, just overtaking my mate in his bodied 172.
Had to get the gearbox rebuilt with the bolted...
Good to see you finally got sorted with a car mate!
Just been reading your thread for the past 2 hours at work this morning, cheers for a good read!
Gearbox is now back in the car, thanks again for sorting it buddy (Y)
Quick update.....
Haven’t done much recently as the house has been taking most of my time up but I took the Clio to get the exhaust sorted as it was way too loud! Also I wanted to get to 95db so I could do all the track days [emoji23][emoji1303]
Took the car to CSK race exhausts in...
Done a few bits since the last post.
Got round to fitting a new alternator whilst trying to move house! [emoji28]
Was a bit of a chew as with the RS2 inlet on it made it difficult to pull it out from the top so I had to remove the alternator bracket from the block. Took a little longer...
Few pics of the RS2 inlet fitted prior to getting mapped at EFI.
Also of battery in the rear.
Few jobs to do next....
Fix alternator or replace!
Sort the exhaust as it is incredibly loud [emoji86]

Evening all
So prior to mapping I had a few gremlins along the way. Haven’t driven the car much obviously as it wasn’t road legal.
I had an issue with it getting to between 3-4K rpm and then it feeling like it was hitting the limiter. Really irritating as I just wanted to drive the car!!
So...
Just thought I would upload my findings from today. 172 Cup with decat and exhaust system and the JMS RS2 Inlet.
Interesting to see other results but I managed 195hp & 151 ftlbs

Great day today over at EFI. Chris is an absolute gent and worked his magic indeed!
As above are Mikes Jenvey figures. Below his 182 on the dyno.
Was really happy how mine performed, must be a healthy engine!
It ran 195 hp and 151.2 ft lbs, very impressed. But most of all it drives...
Whilst the car was in the air doing the PMS shifter I cleaned up the underside and arches and did some undersealing.
I painted the inside of the car, roof and floor black. And then the rear of the car mondial blue. Replaced a load of brake lines (not the best lol but will do until I get...
So after Croft it was time for a little bit of TLC and some tidying up!
Was great fun at Croft but had a few bits that needed sorting. The Clio was off the road for around 6 months whilst I sorted the car.
In the garage waiting for bits....
Then got this from Mike, who sold his 172 and...
So the next track day was Croft, which the car performed pretty damn well all day. See below track day footage [emoji4]
At the end of the video I swiftly exited the track as I had some pretty high temps!!
Later found out I had a bit of an air lock and the thermostat was cream crackered! So...
So after my trip to Cadwell I continued with the mods and fitted the pure Motorsport top mounts.
And also a fitted a ktec induction kit courtesy of @1985michael172
