no there should be a little silver clip that you can take out and adjust on the throtle end of the plastic sheath. and ridges in the housing to move it along
Strange to see the failures as the 306 boys have been running them fine for 4+ years and the only failure so far was due to a pinched oil feed pipe.my install is still going strong after 25k and 3 years

If the cats fucked i'd say thats not helping it on the power side of things
Cables are quite an easy job to do,did one on half hour on my old s/c 6
Theres a guy looking to buy a track prepped 1*2 in the wanted section mate :)
Also maybe worth removing the stickers as this will put a few people off as it looks a bit "chav" as is currently

Bought mine as i wanted something a bit more modern than the 306 GTI-6 that i was driving and something better on petrol while still being fun.
The Clio ticked all the boxes and i can honestly say its been a great...
