Yeah after the bonnet flipped up it was the deciding factor in putting the bonnet back to standard.I have eibachs for lowz it so should look better on the 195/45/16's ive bought.

As long as the engine was fitted properly then you have nothing to orry about.very much doubt its a "new" engine most probably a replacement from another 1*2.and as you said it could be because of cambelt failure,bottom end failure or a whole host of other reasons.
