^ That wasn't long ago lol
I ended up with a Crumpler, from the states
It's the 7 Million Dollar Home - awesome & very comfy plus has straps for a medium tripod:)
LOADS of dividers - I have about 6 I didn't use for that trip!
It held my D3 with 24-70, Sigma 17-70mm, 50mm, Lee filter...
Thanks for the words of wisdom Si;
Been on the car at least 18months (guessing)
Just for the record I'm not by any means slating Streamline's products - they're awesome!
In fact I'm trying to find a way of returning them to their former glory
By the looks of things it could be less hassle to...
Well what's the noise? :S
Is it running ok apart from that?
Mine appears to be driving fine, just due an oil/filter change and fresh front end parts (steering etc)
Apparently due to wear & tear the lacquer has started to peel & bubble on my CF mirror covers
To be fair they are on the car a right while now, rang Streamline anyway and spoke to Chris about how to freshen them up.
As helpful as he could be without seeing the mirrors, advised me to sand them...
I'll keep you posted on how I get on, I have the bits you have mentioned to be changed too (wishbones, ARB bushes & TRE's)
Mine's like a 1 man band everytime I run over a f**king twig!
When I blip the pedal while stationary, or when moving off I'm getting what shounds like a scraping noise coming from the engine
Then it goes away and the car drives as normal :S
Anything to worry about?
Found this while trying to solve a steering issue yesterday - if it's not 1 thing it's...
What sort of knock are you getting Andy?
I have a pair of these bushes to go on mine - as well as some other fresh front end bits
My steering is all over the show :dapprove:
Being all excited about some of the images I brought home, was met with a little disappointment when I imported.
My sensor has come back like the inside of a fecking Dyson :dapprove:
Home this evening, got some good shots scattered all over the place - too much to pack into 3 1/2 days!
The Ansel Adams exhibition was awesome yesterday! :)
Going to try and get to see a few things I didn't get the chance to last time, and some others;
The Gherkin building
Tower Bridge
St Pauls
London eye
Some underground shots
Maybe the Shard too?
Busy week :) also the pub will be hit quite frequently I would imagine
I was in London before in 2005 - the week before 7/7 in the Hilton at Kings Cross and traveled to East Finchley that whole week (Mc Donald's HQ)
Back then I wasn't into the photography as much, armed only with a Fuji Finepix S5000 bridge
Anything betwwen wheel nuts needing tightened, mounts, bushes, play in top mounts, exhaust hitting something, bearing maybe, or driveshaft worst case scenario
- I know mine needed done (and top engine mount) when i got my car it was knocking in low gears
But check everything, from the...
Heading over to London on Tuesday with our course to look at some photography exhibitions & art galleries
We also have our free time too so it goes without saying, the camera is tagging along :)
So what do you all recommend is a must see in the space of 3 days?
Cheers
Trev
Was just thinking that earlier, and could be misleading me, but id normally
pull the stick out
wipe it
back in
back out
hold horizontal & inspect
Actually never thought of checking both sides :o
Checked mine twice today - first dip it was a few mm off the low marker! 2nd dip it was fine!
Both checked 10 mins after a drive
RENAULT....please explain yourself!:coffee:
