Can't you check the part number off the wishobones on your car, then ask someone on here or local to you to check the part number on the Cup ones? :)
Then do a ring-around with both part numbers, or even a numberplate from a Cup & non-Cup Clio?
Nope, 2 seperate flaps.
When I opened the flap under the scuttle panel and looked under the dash again you can just about see some daylight peering through

There's one behind the blower (under the scuttle panel on drivers side)
When I press the recirculation button, it's supposed to close the "recirculation flaps" under the dash as to circulate the air in the car.
Then in turn when you switch the recirculation off it should open the flaps to...
Just been out at the car and found there are 2 flaps for the fresh air coming into the car, there was me thinking there was only 1, that you could see from above the pedals and behind the drivers scuttle panel. (going by the other thread)

So glad both of you came out ok, all be it some injuries but as you say could have been a much different outcome, which I dred to think about.
Things like this actualy makes us sit and think about how safe the roads are, and how we literally do...
From memory, my 172 did this on the standard setup and on Eibach Sportlines
Now on K-Tec coilovers & solid mounts
Still does it mind-you, not very often though :)
My recirculation flap is definitely not moving, tried pressing the button between most functions/combinations on the Climate panel
whilst my head buried in the drivers footwell with a torch :dapprove:
No joy :S
What else can I check to resolve this, or is the motor goosed, if so is it easily...
