I know I get oil pooling where the lower inlet meets the head, consumption is roughly the same as the OP
Oil level on the dash is always off too - and parking on a slope at different angles sets it bonkers! (even after replacing the level sensor with a lower mileage one)
Bit of a bump but I'm looking at doing this to mine - piston is stuck out on the o/s and the n/s isn't exactly brilliant either.
I have the reseal kit from Bigg Red, a little hesitant about replacing the square-cut seal now after reading Dan's post above, or is it a doddle? :)
Is there a guide...
The rack bushes are the only ones I haven't had replaced now - guy said I didn't need them so didn't bother/want to charge the labour
Everything's all Powerflex'ed along with new track rods & ends and it feels awesome! :)

They did attempt to weld them in situe though and said it would be an awful hassle to take the arms off again and refit
I gave up on that and left them be - only reason I got them to fit them is my mate who was helping fell ill & landed in hospital and didn't have anywhere else to work on the...
My logo is one of those marmite ones - but I do have it on jackets, and even the flap of my lowepro rucksack
It's the first I've had and I like it but I have plans to change it to a cleaner, more professional look :)
Well they had her in the air today and couldn't see why they needed welded
Tried a spot weld on one of the sleeves and it almost went right through it. That was the end of that fantastic idea
Currently in the air having the powerflex wishbone sleeves looked at - need tack welded.
Washing it today could be some sort of comedy - almost lost my door in that wind!
The guys who fitted mine were very puzzled at me suggesting welding the sleeves - going in today to get sorted, car hasn't been moved since I got home!
I would of upgraded lenses first and went FF when you've had enough jobs done to save up for it :)
Then it's just a matter of selling the crop body & accessories or keep it as a backup for important events
That's what I did before I got my FF, now the only lens I really use on the D90 is the...
I'm sure most keen photographers on here have a facebook page and/or a website
I use/update my fb page a lot more often than my website as it's easier and can access it mobile until I change my site to SquareSpace or Wordpress
A lot of people hate the thoughts of facebook, but feel free to have...
