Yeah all 3 captive nuts on the inside of the chassis-leg broke their welds :( Had to grip the 2 inner ones under the heatshield and crack them out with the impact gun & hacksaw the outer bolt out. Replaced with 3 new M8 bolts and large washers either side of the mount. All topped off with a...

Have you removed your arch liner to get access to that? I had my n/s/r wheel off and still couldn't see a way in to the top of the mount :S

Just seen this now, 2 of mine wouldn't come out of the bracket today, and part of the bracket sheered off in the process :( Not a lot of room around it to get tools in there either

They're almost undone, just won't come out of the bloody nut on the top of the mount - that I can't access to hold with grips or something. Right PITA!

No worries Danny, I get what you mean about putting weight on the bracket to turn the bolts I will keep that in mind when I get another mount

The reason I was trying to get it off was to put a powerflex bush into it lol instead of old sockets & cable ties - now that part of the bracket has broken and all corroded I need a new one anyway. My problem now is getting the bolts out to remove it from the car

I got one of the 3 bolts out of the bracket, the other 2 were going nowhere, and wouldn't even fully tighten up again :( Looks like a new mount and new bolts for this thing then! Just after looking up the Prima racing mount - to hell with that! lol

Nightmare trying to get the 3 bolts out, even with an impact gun they just kept turning, no joy at all Can't see how to get access around the top of the mount :( Anyone know of a soloution for this, as part of the mount has cracked and I intend getting it sorted while I'm off work Cheers Trev
