The only ones I know of are Cobra - had them on my dci & 17" wheels and that was comfortable compared to my current setup!

I stuck a post up about different makes of coilover on the Spax thread but it probably wasn't noticed amongst the arguments. AP AVO BC Cobra D2 (above link) - look the same as the BC's Weitec How do those all compare to the common setups we hear about on here? Where are they made etc?

Thanks for the input Jonff :) Most of the roads I be on are country lanes & towns heavily garnished with potholes! I had Sportlines before I went for the KTR coilovers, I like the ride height but want my comfort back - think it's my old age lol

^ Probably! lol I'll check my invoice and report back what mine were exactly. Before I ordered them there was a thread and almost everyone was saying they were in around £45-47 for the pair - £13 had alarm bells ringing with me!

Yeah I got my rack mount bushes recently from Renault - they were £40-something for the pair

On this note, to save starting a seperate thread on the smae subject; Anyone experienced AP, AVO or Cobra suspension, how do they compare to well-known brands like FK, H&R, KW etc Are any of them even sister-companies or inspired products of the leading brands?

Well I'm on KTR coilovers at the moment and working at changing all the track rods, ends and wishbones & bushes etc first

Bloody hell, how much did the new rack etc cost to get done? I've got; both inner rods both rod ends rack bushes powerflex ARB bushes new wishbones with powerflex bushes All going into mine before the end of this month, and that was pricey enough but I'm doing the whole front to tighten...

So what options are there for non-Cup 172's will they work with standard shocks? Would Cooksport & Koni dampers be an interesting combo?
