What do you want it for?
There are a few pdfs going around that give details of the cambelt change and other bits and pieces. Feel free to pm me your e-mail address if you want a copy.
They assume a higher level of knowledge than a haynes manual though, I guess the ebay thing will be similar...
The steering wheel can only go on in one position.
Sounds like something else is bent/broken. Normal is 2.8 turns lock to lock.
Measure the track rods they should be the same length, give or take.
I guess the column could have been put on 90 degrees out and then the tracking adjusted to keep...
FLOLGood news though.I've just been measuring the geometry of the racks relative to each other from the pics and they are much closer than the impression the pictures give. So fingers crossed for you :)
I always wondered if it was just that your pump was on the way out James. Over heating PAS fluid is not the norm is it? Never been a problem for me. I had a PAS leak at about 100k and then changed the fluid again recently but that is it and I've had the (race) car since 24k.
You can use the 1.5dci/1.2 rack I think but it is more turns lock to lock.
Fred mentioned in a thread the other day you could use the Twingo Sport rack (as it uses epas) and that is the same turns lock to lock, some people thought it wouldn't fit though.
Tempted to try it myself with a proper...
Just interested, best I've seen is the ED bundle, but I'm not in the know ;)
Do you even need rods NA, yours didn't bend until torque levels you won't get any where near with an NA build.
A re-bore to even 83mm would take you over 2000cc I think.
Not sure if that would be allowed if you're in a 2000cc class.
You would hope there was some leeway with something like this that clearly isn't a performance upgrade.
Unlikely anyone would ever check obviously.
I do some autosolos still. You need to find your local motor sport club.

I can't remember which I cut. Work it out with a multimeter. You basically have the live feed in and a wire for each position if the key. You need to find tge one that is live in positions 2 and 3 iirc.
I had cobra sliders when I first had my car scrutineered and I specifically pointed it out to him. He said it was fine. I've taken them out since as there was loads of flex in the seat with them.
Hi James
Looks like it is all coming together nicely.
Did you fit FIA adjustable seat runners in the end or not?
If so where did you get them?
What are you planning as your first race?
Mark
I measured the angles as best I could from a pic of the group n tool. It was about 5.5 degrees advance for the inlet and 4 degrees r****d for the exhaust.
Never tried it out though.
catcam specs are here

The FIA one is the "std"...
IcemanUK had the ktec dth kit with 120mm trumpets with a carbon back box/plate and decent filter. He had to remove some of the inner bonnet skin though.
I didn't notch the sills, but you can do that and others have.
When you get it new the centre cross is only tacked in so you can adjust it. I adjusted the cross so I didn't need to notch the sills.
Plates inside front and rear yes. The rears are a real pain to get the bolts in as they...
