not always i had a look at a machine for someone that was having stuttering frame rate issues in GTA5, couldn't for the life of me get to the bottom of it and discovered it was unstable voltage causing it to have issues under load, but not enough to cause the machine to crash or restart.
while it's not impossible, the chances of a graphics card arriving, working, just with restricted performance is fairly unlikely. I don't follow AMD these days so can't comment on the CPU performance etc, so assuming that's ruled out as not the cause, for me it's most likely either a...
Given the mention of mechanical drives with games on it, id just get the M.2, fresh install of windows on it, BIOS update, latest nvidia and motherboard chipset drivers!
Id also give him google and tell him to go research it and fix it himself, benefit him in the long run! - Used to spend hours...
remove the engine bay fuse box cover, remove the fuse board inside (clips on at the side) and underneath you will see a white multi plug. Disconnect the plug and check the connections for corrosion, get yourself some contact cleaner etc and clean them up, probably related to that!
When I was 17, 16 years ago!, I pulled the pass side shaft out not realising the box oil would empty on the floor, there is no sign on the garage floor that it ever happened, but when I lie on the floor under the car at that same area I still smell it!
Looks like you have everything you need, as above just make sure you can get the filler loose but I've never had a problem, worst case you could fill it thru the breather on the top of the box but you will be there for a few hours lol.
Car up, drain box, refit plug with new sump washer, remove...
i enquired about a monaco one at a main dealer with those exact wheels on, was also a 52 plate! at the time it would have been about 8 years old which was odd for a main dealer to be selling it, but it was super tidy and low miles! i said i was willing to do a deal if they would order a set of...
Been plodding away with getting the donor car stripped, as soon as the shell is gone ill get the engine all prepped and then the 1.2 in and stripped!
Found the exhaust manifold was cracked, so that will need replaced (i had heard the blow and assumed it would be an exhaust flexi)
Funny...
as far as lengths and dimensions go, its spot on, no knocking etc on anything, I will say, its SUPER light too!!! - Pipework diameter is all good to, no restrictions.
only slight issue I had with mine was the sleeve where the back box slides over the centre section wasn't the best so the clamp...
no longer available unfortunately, ive got one of THESE on mine and its not quite as quiet as the standard system although mine does have a decat, but its certainly not loud
Thought this was worth posting this just because I've never seen a lot of people mention it before.
I've slowly been refreshing my 197 over the last year, I stuck new genuine 200 cup dampers and springs on it, changed all the ARB bushes, put a pair of drop links on it, and a set of pilot sport...
Just wanted to touch on this again, my 197 has developed a tiny intermittent misfire on part throttle. A bit of research pointed towards a loose fitting MAP sensor, I checked mine and sure enough it was loose, I replaced the orings and re fitted and the car is running WAY better low down, and...
Im the same, total soft spot for one. My mate followed me home in my 197 and the exact same thing happened!!! it actually feels keen low down jumping in it from the lard ass 197!
Well this grew arms and legs, picked up a high miles (170k!) Clio RSi cheap local today, shell has seen better days so its getting stripped and the 1600 16v converted over into this shell! - Engine runs sweet as a nut so ill just bore scope it and if all is good, stick it in, if not ill give it...
Ah didn't know that about the cam, to be fair I was the same opinion with the gearing but noticed next to no difference swapping over to a 200 box on my 197, as I wanted to soften the blow of having to change the box by at least getting an "upgrade". I went from the late 197 box to the shorter...
Funny enough, I went from, granted, old worn 197 non cup suspension to new 200 cup suspension all round and its BONE BREAKING on the road, a few occasions I've driven hard down a backroad and questioned if I made the right choice or if I ruined it!
I then fitted a new 200 cup rack, and other...
I see on the RSTuner website you can buy the licence for the mk3 clio to read the EPS controller and configure it etc.
The website states:
Can this also be calibrated via Clip? - Reason I ask is my 197 non cup has been converted to full 200 cup spec and I didn't realise the EPS had a...
