Screw driver it...
I've got a few filter wrenches and sometimes have to bust out Philip and the Thor. I'm sure some people use the wrench to fit the filters because they're tighter than a nuns bifter.
The guys suggested with look and listen to you car and pretty much know the score.. They can check your timing in minutes if they pop out your cam seals and lock the engine off.. They might charge a few quid but you'll know in 10 minutes exactly where you stand..
This is the option you should...
The guy needed tuition but went for a track day without.. When his Skillz ran out he hit the wall, flipped the car boot over bonnet and landed on the grass..
Redbull want him to drive soapboxes next summer in London.
Has the car recovered to said it was stolen or something and the guy doesn't want it on the web? Did someone die?
I watched it and they got our so I can't see why else it would be coming off..
Id take the old belt off the other engine and fit it up to the new with all the pulleys, tensioner and dephaser..
It's just been fitted and the valves are toast so it didn't run correctly?
id run it, why are people so worried about it, they aren't made of cheese.. get a new belt on its own and...
I agree with everyone else that it's most likely the dephaser..
Id just slot one on keeping the 1000mile old, pulleys etc, but I can't see them sorting it FOC or a specialist swapping it out without changing the rest..

I'm not tight and I hate doing things twice, but I have another car here bleeding my dry..
In the other thread a few members went for Fuchs or redline.. I went with the first as it had a few more shouts than the others.. It's going up against halfords which is in there currently..
Every seems to have an opinion and uses different oils, so it's difficult to choose one.. If my gearbox...
Ok, check the shafts, I believe the one I had fitted originally was the OE one which knocked, then a welded/strengthened one after which was an inch longer which also knocks..
No idea why I was given 2 welded shafts, I'm still awaiting an answer but he's not been on whatsapp a few days..
I'm...
I'm sure I have the OE shaft kicking about and at the moment I'm speculating a little..
It's been 5-6 years since I've seen it last so I'll have to hunt it down...
I totally agree with that but after reading some of the issues with the oil and the fact I just went down halfords tells me it could well be that.. I've watched a few videos of other people's problems and it's a toss up between the 2 problems.
The box came from an owner who runs one of the...
I know this a-hole that sent his wheels off for a refurb and the went back and forth 3 times I think before they repainted the wheels and caps..
They looked ok straight on but at an angle they look well out... If a paint shop can't get it right, you have absolutely no chance.. You need them to...
