Why do you 'need' ET35? Unless you have some fancy brakes? Any offset will do (unless you have something like big Brembos), I think they only come with two variations anyway though. Mine are all ET35. Even if they were ET43 though it wouldn't matter, you'd probably just want spacers to make...

You'll need to keep the air bag ECU (and the impact sensors I thnk) if you want to turn the light off with CLIP. @AlexW will be able to confirm.

It was more than likely my dad if it was slow haha. Unless we are talking pottering around, which could have been a warm up or cool down lap. I always do a warm up and full cool down lap every time I go out :) The hesitation/spluttering wasn't really affecting the performance I don't think.
