I personally can't see any reason to NOT have studs over the standard bolts. Why wouldn't you?
No one wants to be faffing about holding a wheel onto a hub, trying to line the holes up and then putting bolts in.
I've got some weed killer bottles for tardis and brake cleaner. Work fine and seem to be resistant to the strength of the chemical.
I also have the Autosmart grey head spray bottles which also work. But are more expensive.
Ah OK fair enough then. As you say they could have been years old. Although you'd still not expect a wheel stud to sheer off.
My car sits around regularly so maybe I should start inspecting studs before each outing!
Makes me nervous too.
What does one do to prevent this? Surely you can't be expected to change studs every year!
Have you spoken to PMS and told them their studs sheared off @Cub. ?
When my AC delete kit broke they sent me out another for free.
I fitted a set of the @bristolnate front door cards this weekend, as well as some door pulls I had sitting on my shelf for months. I'm very pleased with how it looks now, it's so much better than a bare metal door.
Love all of those cars, love the STI hatch the most. Looks awesome.

But as said, a set of cooksport springs or eibach sportline springs is all you'll need. Unless going for good brand coilovers like billstein or gaz
Had a great day at Bedford on Saturday. It was damp and drying in the morning so I managed to get two decent sessions in before lunch and the old man had one.
After lunch it absolutely chucked down. It was so wet I couldn't be bothered to take the R888s off and put the R1Rs on. I didn't even...
Good to see you again buddy. Thanks for the kind words about mine, glad you enjoyed it. I certainly had a great day!
Will have a watch of your video today at some point. Is there any footage of the driver facing dash cam lol?
I watched some of my footage, and it was bloody slippery wasn't...
Has the driver who caused the accident admitted fault? is there proof of this if so?
I'd be pushing for a full repair at my local body shop if it were me.
That's what I did when I was rear ended. Was a battle with the insurance pricks but I didn't give in and won eventually.
The guy that...
Hmmm from reading the thread it seems the car has had a history of problems. I wonder if this is still the case and the reason for sale?
Maybe Adrian can come on here and confirm. I still think it's a good price though to be fair.
