Love the GT3 gear stick. Is it just the stick or the whole linkage too? How much did it cost if you don't mind me asking. PM me if you wish. It's something I'd like to do to mine too :)
Loving those seats also, are they the carbon fibre? Are they from a GT car?
The car looks rapid @neil a
Showing that M3 how it's done!!
Almost sounds as though you have a sequential box. Am I alone in thinking this? Very nice gearbox whine.
I randomly found some third party footage of my car at Brands. Each clip is only a few seconds long but I enjoy seeing and hearing my car on the move from someone else's perspective
EDIT: No idea why it won't let me embed the YouTube video at different time stamps! MODS do you have any...
Problem is, I just bonded my cable to the nipple on the linkage arm 😂 to stop it coming loose. So won't be able to take it off easily. Was thinking about just spraying some oil down the cable cover and seeing how it goes.
I did an evening at Brands Hatch last night. There was a lot of traffic but it was good fun and the car performed very well. The weather was cool and dry which was perfect for the car.
I did have a few tiny moments though. For some reason the throttle kept sticking open. When you let off...
As said, just run them right down as much as possible. If you're worried about wearing them out completely and wasting track time then buy a spare set ready to go in as soon as they are done with.
Nice to see it's moving forward, and to see how generous the people of this community are :)
You've got a lot of very knowledgeable guys working on this so I'm sure it'll be truly epic!
Great pics them ^
Sonny do you have a photo of your springs/ASTs before you fitted them showing the numbers? Are they Eibach springs or AST springs?
If it seems these violent spins are since fitting the Dunlops, maybe it's simply because they are taking longer to heat up? Maybe you could try...
Tow weight 750kg? You'll struggle to get a Clio down to that!
Are you sure that's not the hitch lock numbers? Sounds too low to be a twin axle trailer.
Then you ideally want some light weight 15 inch wheels. Cheaper tyres that way too.
In fact I think @Kelv has a lovely brand new set of Team Dynamic 1.2s with track rubber for sale at a good price
Is that the max gross weight, or the load weight?
If it's max gross weight, then deduct the weight of the actual trailer, say 300kg, then you're only left with 1000kg. That doesn't give you much scope legally if you were to get stopped. It's do able though, you can get a stripped out Clio to...
It would be yeah. But you could just accept the fact it's a damaged shed, buy a second hand bumper as suggested, which will tidy it up from the outside. Then drive it until it dies.
Very cheap motoring. Assuming the chassis is actually still reasonable and not about to split in two (which...
