Kelv has/had a 182 track car.
Stripped it down to a shell and sold all the parts off it. Bought a R27 to replace it. started to strip it fit seats etc, took it to the ring. Realised it was crap.
it then sat for months with no use until it was sold.
182 has since been built back up.
I'm not sure about PSE. It does bypass the rear muffler when the valves are open but I can't see it affecting the numbers too much. Oh wells lol.
Cousins M3, I believe the centre section is gone, and it's a single back box only now. Would have expected it to free up some ponies....Does sound...
I was a little disappointed with the figure on mine. Was expecting at least 330. Especially as people always say Porsche are conservative with their numbers too.
My cousin was disappointed with his M3 too, was expecting 425-430. I think it was pretty hot in there though with no air flow...
Nice write up Tim, didn't realise you were taking videos, photos, and notes of each one. Good effort!!
I got a few videos on the Go Pro but I've not been through them yet, I'm crap at editing so always put it off.
Yes very, they mapped my car, 421s and ITBS.
They also do a load of turbo conversions and map them in house..
You won't have anything to worry about by letting them do the full job. Very high quality service and finish from Engine Dynamics
@TimR26 any update on the potential order? I'm planning on being there for around 9am myself but my cousins are tight for time and asked me if I knew more precisely when the RWD would be?
Not yet no mate, I've taken the car to a specialist now as we've tried as much as we can on the drive etc. So @AlexW is looking after it at Engine Dynamics and I believe they are going to start looking at it towards the end of the week.
Tim I sent another 2x £10 deposits to you.

Yeah it will. Thankfully there's a lot of rad on show above the crash bar too though. It's quite a nice sized rad.
It will probably only be used on very cold winter track days, and also only when I've got the oil temp gauge wired in so I can monitor the operating temperature.
Whilst the car sits unusable until I work out a plan for it around work, I thought I'd spend some time tidying up the oil cooler cover plate I had made. Once I have my oil temp gauge wired in I can use this plate if the oil is getting too cool, potentially on winter track days.
I will...
