Hi I have a very sticky rear caliper on my cup. I'm in the middle of sourcing a replacment but I could also do using my car. Could I just remove the pad holders and pads until the new caliper arrives? Or would the piston come out to far and press on the rotor? Cheers
How the hell can people be expected to lighten up? he's not fitted a cup splitter or turinis!! 'Quick mate make your car exactly the same as everyone else's. Failing that take your tounge and lodge it up one of the mods or frequent posting fan boys ring piece' That way you will be able to post...
Why can't people just answer his question instead of telling him what he should and shouldn't do!? That's all you ever see on this forum, why even reply if your just gonna say "what's the point" "why do that" etc just answer the question or don't reply imo.
Chav: That a 172 sport lad?
Me: yeah
Chav: my mate has a 182 its remapped and does 140 in 4th
Me: sounds fast that mate
Couldn't even be arsed to tell him i knew he was talking s**t lol. Quite amusing though.
You will probably find the EML will go out after a few decent drives of the car, think its like 5 cicles or something. You will soon get used to the light, i have serv and airbag lights on cos of steering wheel and bucket seats, annoyed the hell out of me for a day or 2. Doesn't bother me in the...
Dont think there is much you can do mate, some people's come on some don't. I was lucky, mine has never came on for decat :D
However instead of tieing up the lambda underneather the car, try unplugging it all together, then wrapping up the plug. Thats what i did and i've never had a problem.
I don't see a problem with just posting in here its not like there is 100's of pointless posts made a day. The way i see it, if you post in regional section you'll be having a lonely chat to yourself, think ive used it once and that was to sign up to the north east lol.
For a performance gain, zero point. But if you want it to sound nice go for it! they do sound suprisingly nice on the 1.2's. I got the square adaptor plate if you want it £20 or £45 including pipercross filter cone. PM if interested.
if its for interior i used ford matisse blue obviously not a perfect match but looks s**t hot on interior of stripped cars. I wouldnt dream of using it on the outside of the car though.
How does it come off? can it just be pulled off so you can take out the inner side skirt thing? The drivers side skirt pops straight out apart from belt holder which is easy, just really dont wanna snap the handle trying to pull it off.
Hope that makes sense.
Cheers
Is it completely necessary to use subframes when fitting bucket seats? Or is it possible to just bolt the side mounts to the floor without use of subframes?
Cheers in advance :)
