Also weight wise he is wrong he's taken to stock weight of the car and assumed cos he's stripped it that's its gonna be lighter but he's removed the standard alloy engine block and dropped a cast iron jp4 in, it will be about 700kg.
My mates was something like 717kg at weigh station...
I have first hand experience with these driving and passenger, only buy as a track car if you intend to cage it or you will die they are literally made of plastic lol.
150bhp is a little optimistic without a c2 head but not far off, these engines tune very well. Commonly make 135/140 with...
Don't blame you! was it done while you were away from the car? So frustrating when people who don't give a s**t about their cars damage yours, I have a massive line down my door where someone has slammed their door into mine.
Bumper looks tatty anyway could do with a respray, just grab a cheap bumper from ebay and spray it theres loads on atm, or as said plastic weld it, will be more than strong enough, im guessing you must of back into something to do that?
The mounts tend to just sag tbh. what i've done and alot of others is use the original mounting bracket, remove the rubber from inside and replace with a aftermarket polybush mount and just cable tie it in place gives alot more support than oem rubber and stops them from sagging or you can just...
When removing fuel line have a tissue or cloth or something ready then as soon as it pops out the rail get the cloth over it and twist it upwards a little and rest it somewhere, should only lose a drop or 2 if your quick.
I personally am not 100% on engine spec but what we know has been done is ph3 rally cams on a ported c2 vts cylinder head, high comp pistons, solid lifters uprated springs etc and a custom Citroen sport ecu built by chipwizards in leeds. Apparently its no longer really a vts or gti engine more...
Yes I can confirm it is awesome fun! The shock on people faces when it starts to pull is truly priceless lol.
Sorry don't have any vids atm will get some next time its out and update in here. I completely agree it needs a cage as does the owner, the car is pretty much made of plastic, you can...
Hi, went out for a little cruise the other day and thought i'd share a few pictures of my mates ax for those of you that appreciate a good sleeper lol :D
This thing is absolutely mental lol..... 170bhp rally engine with a 8250k rev limit  weighing in at a tad over 700kg.
Jobs still to do...
Jenvey sell some nice ones, give them a ring or you can order from there site. I have had a few phone calls with them and their customer service is excellent, possibly the best i've ever encountered, they sent me out missing parts for my itbs for absolutely nothing, cant fault them in the...

Sunflower 172 is what id be going for though. plus 172s are better, especially ph1s :)
If its primarily a road car i'd seriously reconsider swapping the powerflex bushes for oem. You will fear drains and pot holes lol, infact any imperfection in the road.
Yeah had a yozza system on for over 2 years and think its time for something quiter lol, plus gonna be fitting my itbs shortly so that should cover the sound side of things. Where did you get your suspension geo done? Anywhere local to Boro area? Need my camber readjusting and would prefer not...
Diluted is fine mate, you could run with just water if you wanted but for obvious freezing issues it's not a good idea. Buy the cheapest you can find! You could piss in it and it would be fine provinding it didnt freeze lol, coolant is coolant :P
Hi again,
Regarding the bolts for mani to head, im gonna order some m8 capheads but does anyone know what length to go for? Would rather have correct size than having to pile up a load of washers or find I've got the put it all back together due to wrong bolts. will also be getting some anti...
Don't forget to flush the rad after fitting the thermostat or you will get air in the system and that will more than likely start overheating issues instead lol.
I've had a full yozza race system on for over 2yrs now and in a stripped car the volume is insane lol but worth it when giving it beans. Gonna be fitting my jenveys shortly and not even sure if I will be able to hear them lol. Anyone got experience with itbs and yozza straight thru? Can you hear...
