in the 6th category (1800-2000cc) he achieved the first place between swap civic (integra engine) type r's s2000's and much more others
they looked behind bora's...
its not because oil you can not fix it with cahanging oil
yours is dephaser pulley
if you change it a little performance will come back
if the sound is very high change it for not having different problems
if the car sounds like a diesel engine on idle esspecially when the engine is warm
it is dephaser pulley %100
if it is sounds like a sewing machine the lifters gone

i dont know why but who fit that colombos to the car have problems in engine. may be they need a very fine setup and cant do this

the gearbox get 3.1 liter oil i have looked from the service manual
you must fill it from the under of the gearbox. there is a filling whole and fill it till the oil comes out and alwalys usu 75w 80 oil grade
thats why in normal life i am using it very slowly and dont pass 4500:)
but sometimes when i need power i see the 8300's
otherwise we cant see a rs again;)
also i want to say that
esspacialy on summer the header reaches very high temperatures and when you are riding on low speeds it effects the manifold
if you can isolate the top of the header with something else it will be better
secondly take out the plastic cover of the manifold
yes you are wright mate for the risk
but you know when you shift 7000-7400 your rev falls down much and you start from the begining in the next gear
although at 8000s you lose gain when you shift aprox. that rev, you get an advantage in the next gear
and ican say that is so much, i have tested...

i want to say that your inlet temp is not much for clio
because there are different inlet system with mercedes
but you can improve it
you can take out the inlet manifold and clean its inside with a brake cleaning sprey or with gasoline
also clean the iat sensors head with gas
but...

while i made superchips remap
i said to the mechanic rise it to 8300:)
and you know life changes after 8000
but i must say that after 8000 there is sure a risk on lifters and rocker arms but not much
i know when vvt works it opens the intake cam 16 degrees more
and when it doesnt work it closes the system
may be the non vvt system is constant open till idling
so i think you need a pair of adjustable pulley to get the max gain
what is the advantage of using non vvt cams with adjustable pulleys and disable vvt
also i think if you dont use adjustable ones may be you can lose gain
i am going to buy the ngk spark plugs bkr7eix-11
i want to learn are they compatible to 172
i have a remap with 8300 rev
because of they say i have to buy a colder one
bkr7eix-11 is a colder plug then pfr6e-10 (standart plug)
so what is your opinion for this
