    when you push the clutch the input shaft no more turning so all of the gearbox is out of work and the sound goes away

    no i mean 6000miles or 10000km i see that in uk the clios are driven twice of Turkey the mileages are too high for us. maybe thats why u are burning that much my 172 is 2000 and for now itis 120k km and i never add oil in 10k maybe 1/2 litre goes in10k
