also, this is what happened to my bosses last track car.
Clio Cup racer, went in backwards at Rockingham on a test day doing about 80mph.
The photos don't show the full extent of the damage, but the roll cage was bent when it came out.
That's an understatement.
Alloys I can half understand, although wasn't best pleased about.
The diesel got me, not like the filler neck wasn't green, and there's a sticker inside the flap saying unleaded only.
But apparently as it had an open cone filter on it, it sounded like a diseasel, so he...
I let my boss borrow my megane once about 5 years ago (had worked there 5 years at that point, but had know him around 9 years) as i'd borrowed the company van for the weekend, which was his daily drive.
He had it from fri afternoon-mon morning, racked up 900 miles, filled it with diesel and...
Shouldn't be a problem doing them :)
Can even do a custom font if you wanted.
Pm me if you want and we'll sort something.
@Mendizmo your recaro ones still looking fresh?
standard setup should be around 15psi on idle with the car warmed up (that's how mines always sat anyway)
other than that it usually sits around the 60-70psi point at around 70mph, can't say I pay a great deal of attention to it tbh.
It doesn't matter what car you picked.
Unless you're talking about more money than sense, it's not viable.
I know a guy who restored an MG BGT to the point of a heritage shell and new nuts / bolts all round, as much of the car was replaced as possible and it owes him thousands more than it's...
I make these.
It's made from 70 shore polyurethane (for comparison, powerflex purple wishbone bushes are rated at 75 shore)
I've been using one on my daily for the past, there's a few guys on the CSOC fb group using them and I've sold a few on here recently.
It does away with the stupid rubbery...
If you mean a Prima Racing one, @j4mes-c s, hang on until the new year and i'll have another batch of my own solid ones available cheaper.
This Xmas thing really stuffs up production!
Welcome!
Sounds like a fun toy you've picked up!
With the V5, ignore it lol, most Clio sports seem to be listed wrongly, and those that are right can't decide if it's a Renault clio sport, or a renaultsport clio or some other jumble of the words Renault, clio and sport lol
and if the witness was in another car that if he hadn't had pulled onto the other side of the road to miss me, would have been sitting in my back seat?
Only for the guy I hit, to get out of his car with the old sore neck routine, realise there was a witness and then start swinging fists?
The...
Sorry for the post hijack, but quick question for you Neil.
Is it regular practice for an insurer to dismiss a witness statement?
(I had an incident a couple of years back involving a truck with no brake lights waiting in an unlit street at the bottom of a humpback bridge!)
His insurers refused...
You could just take the plenum off and check the breather plate on top of the rocker cover.
Not a 100% way to tell, but unless the breather and plenum have both been swapped for 182 ones, they are different on 172's
for some reason, 172's tend to run s**t on anything except NGK PFR610E's
I've tried Bosch super 4's, splitfires and Denso's in mine. All begin misfiring within 4-5 weeks.
Had the same set of NGK's in for around 18 months now without issue.
Others have reported the same aswell.
You actually said it was done by a dealer mechanic, most of which get them wrong regularly, otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned it.
If it was me, and still assuming standard cams, I'd be going down the line of timing check then compression check.
