right, finally got round to reading the instructions on the tv, turns out they use DVI, any one with any experience of HDMI - DVI for tv use, i know there's a thread for pc use on here....
ffs, just had skyhd fitted... my 37" philips hd ready tv that i paid over a grand for last year turns out not to be as hd ready as it says on the tin... no fecking hdmi socket!
i only got 20k out of my rear pads, disks still have at least another 5k on them.... on track i can get them very hot - i can't take the wheels off the front they are so hot but the rears are just too hot to touch the disks rather than the wheel.
using this very very very loose guide i'd say...
i have one, you have only to buy 150 ltr of v-power per month/quarter whatever it is, not 95 ron also.
in 3 months I've earned two return flights to greece :)
Even better, A&G Auto Engineers in Elland - jnct 24 of M62. They've set-up a few race cars.
I've used them before, they fitted the brakes etc, didn't know they did geometry work though..
there could be a number of factors and reasons that influence this. maybe they didn't refresh/upgrade the brake fluid, lines etc or it could be down to the kit.
I went up from 6 pots to 8 pots on the M3 and it didn't effect pedal feel at all.
a couple of reasons
1. unless you go for something like the compbrake 4pots the extra force applied to the brake generates more heat without proper dispersal, 2 piece disks do aid this obviously but i've seen the wilwood ones warp disks on the way to a track day!
2. the wheels on the 182 are...
anyone know of a decent one around the yorks/manchester area?
Some low life key'd my front n/s wing last week and want it sorted, also a few touch-ups needed.
if you're adamant in fitting 4 pots make sure you also fit brake ducting or they'll overheat quickly.
remember the clio cup cars didn't have 4 pots and they were stripped out racers.( a tad lighter than the road going cars but still..)
better brakes would be the first thing on the agenda. Brembo Max & Pagid Rs42's.
Next question is why the engine mounts? No need for 4 pots, the above set-up is more than ample.
Camber adjustment is a good idea - don't go too extreme mind.
Strut braces, i wouldn't go for a rear one - it'll...
if the log book isn't correct (which it won't be unless it's been reclassified) the insurance will be invalid. Not too bad as it's only £2k but if you run into a high end merc, that's your house gone :(
