It takes loads for it to kick in imo. I dont think you can safely push it enough on the roads.
Revs more freely without it though.

edit: looking at the tread depth on that knackered alloy you need shooting tbh. Looks very low.
What caused the accident? Excess speed and lack of grip?
Pmsl! I thought the same. I've never been been approached and I've only had a couple of t***s try it on at the traffic lights.

1. Go see a 172.
2. If it has buttons on the wheel its got cruise.
3. If its got the switch to the right of the wheel its got esp/tc
4. Look under the passenger seat. There should be a cd changer.
Jobs a gooun. You cant do it by year. Some 04 plates I seen didnt have cruise.
