They are so bloody delicate. I've replaced the PSU and HDD in mine... :-( If yours is a thompson box it will be the psu thats on its way out. You can get replacement (refubed with better parts) ones off ebay for about £15.

Hard disks failed. My old sky+ disk went like that. Bit of googling. Bunged in a 1tb. It was something silly like £60 for them to come out and replace it with a refurb or £65 for a disk. Cant fill it up now! My sky HD box is s**t. Only a matter of time before that goes.

Thats pretty much it. You goldcard then go back to the OEM HTC rom taken off their site, so its properly debranded. Then when you update it thinks its a debranded phone and will pull the update from HTC not your provider. 2.2 is good. Not that much different to look at. The wifi hotspot thing...

Fvcking annoying this. You used to be able to switch PIN off on the sky+ boxes, but the HD box treats you like a r****d and asks for a pin everytime you switch over.

Only vodafone got an update today. T mobile is sometime next month..

Cheers, yup, I can ping my router via a DNS I've setup. I can also log into my router remotely to get the IP addy. Am I correct in thinking that the port should be forwarded using TCP and not UDP?
