Its a rip off of the show Jason Dawe and Penny Mallory used to do... i thought that was bad but not as bad as this new show

My experience of RS Clio Clutches
Ph1 172 - Not as heavy as a 182, but not as light as my 172 cup, fair bit heavier than a new age car like a hyundai i30 (for instance).
First 182 FF - Very heavy and squeeks when it gets warm from a long drive or lots of stop start traffic
172 Cup Turbo - Nice...
Thats low, i got more than that in my 172 Turbo running 250bhp!
Getting 34-37 in my 182 at the moment
Plus im sure this will get deleted soon....

No worries... it looks like a real minter.
My old 172 Turbo is forsale - http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?718444-172-turbo
Be nice to see someone buy it back into the CS club
Dom, sorry to hear youre selling up mate! Really like your car and if i was in the market for another boosted clio i would def look to buy this one.
In terms of forging it, have a word with Andyrg. He's selling a load of bits from his 182 turbo, pretty sure there are some forged rods that will...
Great video for you to watch Imprezaworks if you need a little persuasion to by that V3.
http://youtu.be/aoVzaHTRGMM - jump to 15 mins 45 secs
great video in general IMO, infact ALL the best motoring vids are ;)
http://used.ph/17PTagI - I like this!!
I disagree with that. My cup seats are far better than the seats i had in my Ph1 172 and 182. Only downside to the cup seats are they look crap, and have no lumbar support
+1 to everything said above. If its a track car then go for a cup, for everything else get a 172. As ive said before the...
7,8,9 400bhp 400ftlbs, but some say 450... I personally thing you're pushing it then.
4,5,6 I think 350-400bhp as the rods are said to be like tooth picks.
There is a popular upgrade known as a "rod job" that you can go up to 500-600bhp. I'm guessing its just a case of using forged rods...
Wish they had made this... All the good bits of a scooby with the handling of an Evo or better
Its the one car I'd absolutely love to drive over most super cars!
A little more downforce at speed yes, keeps it straight and true at high speed basically.
I think the Evo you have pictured there has a special party piece, once the bonnet is up ;)
heres a great video of it too... Seriously worth a watch

This got posted on the MLR forum... Apparently it's fake, and I agree. The turbo seems to spool up at 7k if I remember right?
Still an awesome car though!

All the answers you will ever need on Evos.
Basically 1-3 same chassis with different body panels spoilers and an evolution of engine.
4-6 all use same chassis again with different panels and different...

this was my mates 5RS
the chap that bought it from him sold it a month or so later for £15k
SERIOUS bang for buck!
The attention to detail on the build is second to none!! If I had the money I'd be hunting this down and buying it!
Lovely motor, what was the spec when you had it?
i went out in NeverNeverman's (MLR FORUM USER) Evo 6 that had 650bhp or 720bhp on race fuel at silverstone, that thing was mental, and he could pedal it too!
il get some pictures of my mates 5RS that was forged to 620bhp, had only got 17k on it...
No I bought it from a chap called Rob in Devon off the MLR. Who is Andy as I might have sold it to a chap called Andy if he owns a used car garage? I did a P/X on a MCS Checkmate (oh the shame :()
Yeah a 2nd car, not a track car.
I was saying if its a track car then 172 Cup, for a 2nd car id go for all the options and buy a 182FF, 99.9% of the driving experience/performance with no draw backs
Having owned a ph1 172, 172 Cup, and a 182FF, id say the best one was the 182. IMO because of the extra's you get on it compared to the empty cup. If youre going to strip it within an inch of its life and turn it into a track car then yeah, go for for a 172 Cup. However, if you plan to drive it...
