Oh dear one tongue in cheek comment and the thread turns into Evo Vs Scooby :tongueclosed:. In all seriousness though, i love them both and for completely different reasons, great cars!
The guy in the 22b has been working with a chap that owns a mint red TME n posted videos on youtube, really...
Well first things first, I got extremely jealous when the Impreza thread started to get more attention than the Evo thread (how could that possibly happen when Evo's are clearly the better car?!!... awaits extreme Evo vs Scooby banter), and if that wasn't bad enough, its now looking likely that...
Awesome car's the GP2. I test drove one at my local mini garage not long after i sold my R53 Checkmate to see about getting me back into a mini... unfortunately the figures just weren't right so didn't bother, but the test drive was great and i'd happily own one even with them having just two seats
Is this your old thread for this car @Ant1 ?
Whats the details on the car, mileage, owners etc.. Also, where did you buy if you don't mind me asking? feel free to PM if you would rather not disclose here...
Evo looks lovely... do you not fancy getting the TME sticker kit for it?
With the Evo Vs Impreza debate, i always found the best way to compare models in terms of performance is to watch the best motoring videos on youtube. The new age bug eye, blob eye limited edition runs seemed to do better...
Yeah we bought a pram called an I-Candy which folds down smaller than any other we saw so that fits in her boot which is the exact same size as the S1. Only difference is you can remove part of the boot floor for an extra few inches of depth which you don't actually need. S1 has all the running...
I've been driving my fiance's A1 to work and back the last 2 days as its been sat still after she had a cesarean section giving birth to our daughter, so hasn't been allowed to drive. Thought id take it out for a spin to make sure the battery doesn't die and that its all ok, and my god what fun...
Been a while since i updated this, so thought id post my thoughts after just over 6 months of ownership...
Its done just over 7k now and is running faultlessly. Averaging about 28mpg, much lower when on the loud pedal, but then not much higher when on my work commute (mixture of A/B roads -...
It was on there the same day. I cancelled in the morning and it was on there when i went and checked after dinner. Its so easy, literally follow the foot steps.... Try and sort a deal when cancelling, if they wont do 50% off, plus £50 credit, just cancel. Then log into your sky account and it...
Ok, so carried on with @eugegall advice... logged into my sky account today and clicked on the blue button which says something like "accept this offer" then i went into a chat because i wanted to adjust my package. Got the following
Box sets
Sports
Full HD
£50 credit
For £35.75 a month. This...
It's there!! Haha brilliant! Glad I stuck to my guns and didn't take their lame offer! Cheers for the advice!
Will get onto them tomorrow and see what they can do!!
Just had an interesting chat with Sky. Played the game as described by @eugegall so ive cancelled. They offered me my same package (everything but movies/sports) for an extra £6 a month, but assured me that was the best they could do. Will now wait for my email to come through asking me to come...
Yeah very true, maybe its just that i'm not fussed about owning one then.
Just been reading @Waitey 's thread about the RS3 and seeing its averaging 32 MPG on a steady run!! im averaging 26-28 currently since taking delivery, and if i'm careful i'll just about get 31! its quite a thirsty car...
I feel the exact same... id love to remap it, but being a lease ive got no chance!!
I couldnt really polish/pamper something like that, its purely a drivers toy. Id quite like something a bit old school like a mint 5 GT turbo, or a turbo'd clio again possibly.
So, i've had the Golf a couple of months and still really enjoying it. Its a great car for either going for a blast, or something refined and comfortable on a long journey or commute.
Even with all that, i'm thinking i need another weekend car with a manual gear box and something i could...
