50 - 60 on the motorway should see 40mpg, maybe a little higher.

100 miles is a little different to 4500 miles in 5 days, which is 900 miles a day. So if you drive for 14 hours a day you'll need to average 65mph. If there are 2/3 of you driving then I'd say go for it! Driving 12/14 hours a day on your own, trying to average 65/75 mph would be a nightmare.

Keep the wheels silver and spend the refurb money on a trophy spoiler, would finish it off nicely.

If it has been maintained correctly that sort of mileage shouldn't put you off, plenty of good examples on here with way over 100k and still going strong. It looks like a decent example, if it is HPI clear and not been in an accident it would be worth having a look.
