I've had about 5 sets done there, it's not the best finish I've ever seen but for £1 an inch you really can't complain.

I think there is a good chance that has not been looked after by an enthusiast Dave. The Halfords wheels, window tints, lack of a splitter and the damage to the bodywork would make me think that car has been neglected. I could be wrong though. I agree with what you are saying about cars often...

I'd much rather spend 4k to 4.5k on one that has been looked after, that one clearly has not. Although someone should save it for £2500.

I bought a Cup with 17" TSW alloys fitted, when I swapped to 15" F1's the handling was improved and the car felt much more nimble. 17's generally look too big on a Clio IMO.

It's missing the black inserts on the bumper, generally a good sign that it has seen paint. It could have had a front end re-spray to cover stone chips. Have you HPI checked it?

That silver 182 has had a front end respray. Could have been done because of stone chips but it could have been in a smash too.

If I were you I'd buy one from the classified section on here, you've got more chance of getting one that has been looked after. That black one you have been to look at appears to have an old Cavalier 2.0 badge on the boot lid, that would put me off straight away!
