You could get away with 20mm spacers I think and a bit more off the callipers as I tried a F1 for clearance when @Phase1sr was going to fit some Brembos on his Ph1.
They're my old brakes although there were no issues with the nipples when I had them.
With the next trackday at Oulton Park being 4 weeks away and the engine mounts feeling a bit loose I bought these
They worked out about the same price as new mounts with powerflex inserts and I liked the vibratechnics mounts on the Clio so thought I'd give them a go.
Also bought a set of...
I'd have put this up for sale rather than the RB, still a nice looking car though.
I keep debating getting a standard one as a work hack now I do less mileage. I miss the Ph1!
I would go for the brembos and run Ferodo DSUNO pads. They'll offer you braking as good as RC6 pads with standard callipers but with more modulation and longer disc and pad life.
Plus you'll save nearly 10kg over the standard discs and callipers.
Been driving it a fair bit since changing the Itg filter for the V6 airbox and it feels much smoother to drive from idle all the way to the redline.
I always felt like it ran a bit too rich and since changing the filter it doesn't seem to, possibly why it's now smoother and the exhaust doesn't...
I had the same issue and it was shaft length after messing around with subframes and roll centre kit.
Martin on here had an issue with a shaft being too long with his diff'd box.
Looks like it's going well Mark. What spring rates are you running?
The Dunlops don't go off as quickly and outright grip is a little better. For trackdays there's not a massive difference.
Alleggerita HLT all the way! But then I am biased ;) they're lighter than ultraleggeras.
I'd love a mk3 rs but I already have a mk3 diesel and the mk2 is a track slag with rear seats for family use.
