Just a quick simple question. When people cut holes in the numberplate area on their front bumper, do they also cut holes in the crash bar that is directly behind it too?

Still a load of work to do but this is it's current state. Definitely going to change the matte black to gloss black, and need to spray a few things like the ECU cover and bracket.

I asked that question because I read above that you bought harness eyelets but on a second (and less stupid) thought I'm guessing those are for the lap straps on the harnesses.

Not too much to update on, progress has been abit slow but decided to give the engine bay a quick tidy up and a paint. Red and black to stick with the future colour scheme of the car. Still need to paint a few other things like the fluid reservoirs and ECU cover.

Getting the cage for made for almost free from a friend. When I say I'm on a budget I more-so mean that I'd rather not spend more than I need to, but at the same time buying an ARB wouldn't be an issue at all really.

Just a simple question really. I understand an ARB is to stop body roll under fast cornering, but if I have a full 6-point cage and rear strut is it going to be worth my while of using one? I'm on a limited budget so don't want to spend more than I have to.

Seems to me that pretty much the majority of people use standard Brembo discs and pads for the rear. Has anyone had experience using Mintex discs and pads on the rear? At £40 cheaper than the Brembo's it would be helpful to me as I'm on a tight budget. Ebay link for mintex pads and...

Disconnected mine and haven't had any problems with locking or starting. They're just attached to the wiring with male-female spade connectors so you can just re-attach them if there are any problems.

Does it not wobble side to side?
