The carpro mitt is one of the best IMO, fractionally cheaper is the flexipads version
Gyeon wet coat is so similar in many ways in relation to application and removal, performance and issues if you get it wrong, other than it comes pre diluted instead of neat but prices for 100ml of...
there's a group buy on DW, works out as free postage so put my name down as I've almost finished my 2014 bottle.
Will report back if there's any noticeable changes
Desire has far better durability than toughcoat. But when toughcoat is as quick and easy to use as a QD you could just keep adding layers after a general maintenance wash provided the panels still come up clean
Anyone tried any of the sonax range other than BSD? i4detailing will be stocking the majority of the range and as they're my preferred retailer I fancy trying more of their products.
@Kyle 86 won me over with their turbo detailer. Polymer net shield although being a bit naf to apply is a great...
Agreed I like the britemax pre prep range, but for this argument lets keep it to say britemax AIO, blackmax and vantage against DDJ need for speed, lime prime and purple haze
I'm already a firm believer in grime out, clean max and spray and shine. Products I'd always be happy to buy again
Ah, to add to the mix, I recently bought some lime prime, purple haze and blue velvet panel pots to retry after not using them since I first started out
So, the britemax or dodojuice combos? Which do you prefer?
Currently trialling britemax vantage side by side against megs ultimate paste wax, one front wing and half a bonnet each on the Mrs car. Panels were clayed, hand polish with P1 and IPA wipe down mid to end of December and both are still beading and sheeting well with megs removing more water...
Tough coat doesn't seem to be an overly fussy product about what it sits over so I'm sure it'll be fine.
Doing a side by side test you might see it last a fraction longer over a less oily base but I wouldn't personally worry.
Been trying the power maxed TFR Ready to use formula which equates to 1:50 dilution ratio the past week or so. Used on both muddy, salty but protected cars with LSP's still strong. Tried it on its own and after using other pre washes and pressure rinses. So far a friend and I have been a little...
I wasn't overly impressed with amigo, so personally I'd go straight to toughcoat after rejuvenate. But toughcoat seems to a non fussy product about what you put it over, so can't imagine it'll do any harm using tough coat amigo
Ultimate compound is an abrasive polish for removing paint defects so will also remove any other product you use it over so use this first.
Amigo is general a filler/ glazing product that will go over other products but has no protection.
Rejuvenate is a pre wax cleanser with chemical cleaners...
I often dilute citrus power 1:1 unless the panels are really grimey. VP citrus never seems to work as well although it is considerable cheaper.
Dooka are often talking about bilt hamber auto foam. A friend used it at the weekend as a snow foam and was pleased with the results, certainly a lot...
If you're using the product by DA, maybe give DDJ lime prime or britemax blackmax. Even with a finishing pad you will still get a little cut but they fill well
