Rapid detailer was pretty average, didn't really do anything all that well in terms of comparisons to other QD's. I've only used the meguiars ultimate quick detailer and ultimate quik wax and both are very good products.
@gally I know you used migliore strata coating white a bit and liked the applicator/ application. I used it at the weekend and although fairly easy, I felt the applicator sponge was a little grabby when moving over an area of uncoated panel. Felt lovely when going back over a coated area but...
Sold it as I always went straight for the carpro mitt. Now I've got some new carpro mitts just finding them a bit cumbersome and not needed, but I guess maintenance washes are easy with the current weather. Just the GT mitt is well priced
@gally how you getting on with the gtechniq wash mitt? I sold my incredimitt on and got more carpro washmitts but thinking of going back

Keep it in they family, britemax AIOmax seems to perform almost as well as AF Tripple, but is a little easier to use as it doesn't dry out quite as quick
The 110 is fine as a budget PW. I had one and it served me fine for 3 years. Step up to something more powerful and you'll soon reliase where im coming from
Gtechniq C1/4/5 can be used on metals, painted panels wheels and plastics, and bare plastics as they are all very similar so I'm sure carbon collective will be the same thing
C110 isn't all that great. Struggles to get a thick foam and remove wheel grime like a bigger PW. plus it can be found cheaper than that
This was reduced recently to £150

So a waterless wash/ touch up at shows for a little extra gloss?
Meguiars ultimate quick detailer
meguiars ultimate wash and wax
powermaxed quick detailer
chemical guys synthetic
If your looking for thenjust waxed look after a routine wash most are suitable, so which ever brand you favour
@cat171 any close up photos of the finish of your wheels please?
looking at getting some done soon and considering lepsons. Id like them done properly but as they're going on the wifes car im sure they wont be perfect for long
A QD is such a varying product and has quite a few roles, what do you want or intend to use it for? Quick touch up after a routine wash, extra gloss or protection top up? Water spot remover, clay lube or drying aid etc.
Some of the few I've tried and would buy a 2nd time
Autofinesse finale...
The ep from CYC is cheap iirc but the original ep800 was an aweful machine. Mechanics were terribly balanced and it got fairly hot. Heard better reports on the 801
I don't think anything other than DLUX or C4 really lasts as long as the claims. A month is normally past their best. I'm looking to replace AF revive which I'm quite happy with bit just curious as it's a product I've never tried. Although having to decant and dilute I'm not sure I can be...
Polishing provided not too agressive should be ok as lots of body shops flat back during the process iirc. It's more to do with letting the paint and solvents breathe as they cure.
It won't fill stone chips, well not past the first time you wash it or it rains and it rinses out.
It's abrasives are generally quite aggressive and would be best followed up with some finer. Tbh there are far better products out there. Meguiars ultimate compound and polish for one if you're...
Most if not all suppliers do not make every single product in their line up, but most people seem to ignore that. but to give it such a premium price to bring it in line with the rest of the range is pure genius.
What do you think to the turbo detailer? I only used it the once and seemed much nicer to use than BSD. But I've recently been mixing BSD with either chemical guys V7, megs ultimate quik wax, power maxed quick detailer and all are nice to use and still give the same beading. Tried mixing with...
