As above. It wouldn't phase me if I owned one now, it's when they're 5 years old and out of warranty. Ford seem to handling it well but If the RS gets the image that they're unreliable it may seriously effect their desirability and value in the future.
You may have to rework that spreadsheet..
That sounds more like a fault before you spend money? I've got a 7+ and the mrs a 7 both run perfect without issues.
I'm no apple fan boy and would recommend most modern Android phones but don't go wasting money.
I tax is £300.00 a year. It's post 06 which is when they become expensive.
They sound brilliant. Just as quick as a mapped 225. A few mods and a 225 would be quicker.
They also look considerably better with the spoiler extension, better front bumper etc.
I'd seriously consider something like this over a 225 too - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-TT-3-2-QUATTRO-6-SPEED-MANUAL-VERY-RARE-FACTORY-SATNAV-LOADED-SPEC/253250763022?hash=item3af6ebf90e:g:GpsAAOSwZW5aBHV5
The k03 on a tfsi is different to that on the 1.8t. The 225 has a k04 anyway as does the MK2 Leon cupra 240. The tfsi with a k04 is a map away from 300bhp as Danny says.
I’d happily own one and going up in value. For not much money you’ll have 270/80 bhp. I personally think haldex is good even in this era. We live in a country with perma rain. I will say, a drivers car it isn’t but it is a jack of all trades.
Mine came with full tints, wind deflectors, M Sport number plate surrounds but the finest was when you opened the door it projected a BMW sign on the floor.. :tongueclosed: That was a shock when I first opened the door at night. Jesus Christ. I still need puddle lights as I've disconnected them...
When I say how do they sound I meant how bad..lol! Pretty much no diesel sounds good unless it has lots of cylinders and a big turbo or two.
Mine has the same horrendous exhaust, It looks so bad. I'd do a back box delete for a twin pipe just so long as it wasn't much louder.
The claims of their website are always worth a giggle. 195bhp on a mini MCS. No pulley needed - https://www.celtictuning.co.uk/services/performance-stats/mini/cooper-s-r53-2002-2006/petrol/1-6-163-bhp-2002-2006-ECU-remap-chiptuning/stage-1#t3-content
R26 - Straight to 280bhp -...
