As Scrooge says it could be many many things. A loud ticking under load can very often be the exhaust gaskets as you say but it doesn't make sense to be coming down from where the aux belt is. It's more like to be a pulley. Carbon canisters tick but it wouldn't get louder under load.

Love it. Between me and my mates I think we owned about 10 of these when we were 14/15. We used to buy them for about £50.00 and take them up our local quarry and kill them.

My PD150 had just hit 100k when I mapped it. It slipped within a week. Two mates have PD's with over 150k, mapped and on the standard clutch and dmf. Just roll a dice..lol

Right, I've just had a email off my Granddad. He currently pays for Sky Multiscreen. Whilst he does use sky on 2 TV's he doesn't use 2 at the same time. He's asked if there is any alternatives and mentions a "Wireless link". I'll be honest, I'm not 100% what he's on about and do use this type...
