Keep an eye out for the Spray n Pray machine gun. It has explosive shells which is the best gun I've found for killing Gouls ;) Also Gauss Rifles decimate all. Mine's at 384 damage I think.

I use the glitch method. 1. Go to workbench, dump all my weapons on the floor 2. Open workbench and add all weapons to the store (B on Xbox) 3. Take all the weapons from the store back 4. Repeat as necessary. This reduces the amount of space used at a settlement.

another tip, if you're at Diamond City Markets and need more of something after you've bought it. Grab a chair and wait 48 hours. Stock will normally re-appear.

I just do random runs to the Diamond City Market with a tonne of purified water and buy wood, copper, steel and anything else I need.

Yup, my one at Sanctuary Hills can produce 170-200 purified water over a day or so I think (don't quote me on that). Thats normally worth around 3500 caps I think.

I make all my caps from producing purified water which I either just sell or buy materials with.

I heard it was out. Looking forward to the Xbox release:)

Think I've got 24 settlers at some locations. But that's through jacking up my charisma through clothing.

Yeah its got to that now. Thankfully those missions are few and far between as I seem to have done most of them. Getting a tad bored though, so really need that DLC soon. Kinda wished I'd played it on the PC to make the most of all the mods that are out now. But sod starting again. I'm level...

I'm with the minutemen and the railroad. I know that because I've been asked a million times in the game "you're with the minutemen right?". So tempting to just shoot them.

Our V+ box is over 6.5 years old and plays up more and more now. The TiVo has to be a similar age so could do with an upgrade at some point.

i can't remember how my mission kick started but i do remember her cowling in the corner or a corridor. Next time I visited the young boy was ill which then led on to the key mission.

Try leaving the vault for 24 - 48 hours. Go outside, find a chair and select wait. Might not help, but just an idea.

Rarely use my PC for gaming now, but certainly never hooked it up to my TV. Is it worth doing?

If you're playing it on the PC, I think there's a mod which lets you do that.

You can also upgrade a "battered fedora hat" with ballistic fibre which gives you 110 armour / 110 energy resistance, but I think they look a little odd.

Created a brief video clip of a special weapon you find later in the game. The thing is mental, but I've put it in spoiler tags incase some haven't got that far yet.

Here's what my dude looks like and a screenshot of the clothing / armour. Tbh I used to watch a few youtube videos that showed how to get the best out of the game such as armour and weapons. Really helps IMO and makes it more interesting. Overall damage resistance is 255/252.

Yup. Takes ages to get it, but well worth it.

I also recommend googling "ballistic fibre". Its an awesome unlock that allows you to upgrade army fatigues which you can wear under armour.

Discovered another area today and found my 4th set of X-01 armour which was bizarre, as I thought there were only 3 in the game.
