Better way of putting it, although I suppose it's unrealistic to many having to pay a mortgage/rent at the same time, obviously this wasn't of concern to Laura whilst doing this.

As an accountant, it's interesting to hear the cost side, and as you say, a fair amount of it was covered by warranty. Great way to tick something perceived to many as 'unrealistic' off the bucket list!

I'm fairly sure the reference to Clarkson was one of a few sources who have called it chav, rather than the sole foundation of an argument. Even the FRS owners on their own forums mock themselves for the chaviness of the car, it's nothing new.

Are these people still £20 a wheel, £30 including removing/refitting/balancing tyres? Half tempted to give the Golf alloys a nice spruce up whilst I'm away on holiday.

I just can't help but see the FRS as a chavved up old looking Focus. I know loads of people love it, but I'm not one.
