    Non starting P0300 fault code

That's my next move as it's the last cost free step before any parts are ordered. Fingers crossed. Cheers

    Non starting P0300 fault code

Evening all, Very common code I know but after trawling threads it normally seems to be associated with cars which are running rough caused by a bad injector/coil pack/leads or plugs. In this case the car was running very well, left standing a bit too long over Christmas and now just turns over...

Afternoon all, Quick question, do I need to remove the air box to get to the crank sensor? Cheers

    Front ARB bushes

If you go down the powerflex route, go for the purple series as they are covered against failure.

    182 Full fat track slag!

A before and after printout from the dyno.. Red is group N with standard CAT and accoustic valve detached. It made 182 bhp and 165 ft/lb. Black is adjusted map with decat, blanked acoustic valve and fog lightCAF making 188bhp and 171 ft/lb. Couldn’t resist an engine bay shot of Chris’s 5 turbo...

    182 Full fat track slag!

Managed to get over to EFI to get my map cleaned up after leaving the acoustic pipe off. I added a decat in the meantime and was pleased with the adjustments/result.. Bhp and torque up and the curve is much smoother now. Chris suspect’s my CAT was a bit clogged. That’s it for the engine as it...

    Strut bolts

They are standard bolts. I’ve not gone back to do them as I lost interest/forgot. I’ll try again when I put camber bolts in. Cheers

Very true mate. What’s an email. I’ll get one over and post the response. Cheers

    182 Full fat track slag!

Pointless really mate, black series bushes are not covered by the warranty. I’ll either get purple next time or stick with black which are an improved version.

    182 Full fat track slag!

After getting the inner roll bar bushes changed to cure a knock underneath the car I was disappointed to discover it was still there. Turns out it is the wishbone bushes. 3 year old black series bushes had failed. I’ve posted elsewhere on the forum about this and now I know the lifetime warranty...

    182 Full fat track slag!

Small update from this weekend. Finally got round to headlight restoration. Went for the meguires kit based on reviews/price... Before... After.... Took a bit of effort but happy with the results.

This Honda reminds me of Clioturbo's work

HOLY s**t.... Looks like it was built by a team of 8 year olds after a week in Ibiza.

    Powerflex failure after 3 years???

I bet mine were old stock with no washers. Live and learn I suppose. Cheers

    Powerflex failure after 3 years???

I’ll be having a look as I haven’t made a move with the mechanic yet but I’m pretty sure he fitted them correctly.

    Powerflex failure after 3 years???

Wow. You can’t say fairer than that and I was already preparing my email to powerflex until I got to the second to last paragraph which excludes any part labelled ‘BLK” gutted.

    Powerflex failure after 3 years???

That’s what’s guiding me toward the purple bushes. I’ve tried these and I’m not particularly impressed so I’ll try the purple. Cheers

One of the few items I haven’t replaced. Cheers.

    Powerflex failure after 3 years???

That’s a fair point, but I was sort of thinking they were a fit and forget type of part. If that’s the case though I’m thinking maybe I will put the purple road series in? Surely there life expectancy will be high but when you start throwing Trackdays in its another can of worms.

    Powerflex failure after 3 years???

I’ll drop them an email. You never know, even after all this time is still not really good enough. Cheers

Solid nylon? Any more details on those mate? Cheers

    Powerflex failure after 3 years???

Is it me or do you think 3 years is a long enough service life for an “up rated” bush? I bet the OEM bushes on the car when I bought it lasted 3 times longer than that.

    Powerflex failure after 3 years???

Afternoon all, I’ve just had my second failed black series bush on the 182. First was the inner roll bar bush, now a wishbone bush. Both were black series, and both failed in 3 years. Granted the car is driven hard and it’s done 10 Trackdays and around 8 thousand miles. I don’t feel like I’ve...

New to the clio sport whats best to buy

I took a ride in a members car last year, it was a 172 showing over 270k on the clock. Pulled like a train. He’s a very good mechanic but if you know a very good mechanic there’s no reason you can’t do the same.

Low miles Titanium 182 on ebay

Could be wrong but it looks like it’s had a new grill, don’t think the stickers are correct but that could have been swapped for cosmetic reasons rather than crash damage. If it’s been for sale forever there could be a deal on. Worth a look IMO of course.

34 years ago Rallying lost a big talent.

What an awesome spectacle. Rally driving at that level truly is an art form. Such a shame accidents like that were allowed to happen.
