Tried connecting my Android Torque pro app to the ELM327 OBD2 adaptor, and it connects to the OBD 2 but not to the ECU Any ideas? - had a couple faults on the OBD reader, which clear themselves suggestions rather than using the ELM 327 adaptor interface

    faulty brake light

I have volt meter that will show 12 volts is flowing. IE 2 probes, one on the live wire, and one on the other return cable on the connector. If you are getting 12v across the 2 wires that the bulb has plugged into it, then it shows that 12v is getting to the bulb, and then its the connector...

Conectors were knackered on my upper brake light recently, so by passed them and cut them out if you have a live switched supply, and return path and a working bulb, theres nothing...
