why does everyone suggest long bolts when fitting the subframe to the floorpan- your not leaving the OEM spacers on are you? As when I fit the JonFos subframe to the floor pan strut, closest to the door passenger side, after taking off the 2 rubber bungs, theres only a few mm of steel meaning I...

any idea what 197 cams would do for a standard 172 phase 1 engine? How much labour involved and are they tricky to fit when sorting the belts at same time?

Have removed passenger seat, and runners, and the bolt nearest gearstick is worst. Didnt bother removing heatshield and dropping exhaust to get to it, just hacksawed it of top side. May well keep the new bolthead underneath the car and nut and washer top end on sub frame, easier i think. See...

There are a nice comfy sporty seat, although dont hold you in the seat as tight as some others- maybe thats the reason, or maybe the bucket seat plastic is not up to strength standards?
