Biggest problem was finding someone- 6 th attempt i got the right outfit
Went to Fast Car festival at Donington today, fab weather, really enjoyed the show as a prelim to FCS
Was surprised there were no bucket seat sellers...... shame
Inclusive of vat, between 400 n 600 to be honest. Even entry seats start round 250 with side mounts. Depends what you want obvs. That dont include the mounting sub frame, just side mounts and seat. Then theres all the bespoke extras embroidery, lumbar supports etc etc
Yes, in the brochure. Dont want the head protection aspect for mine, as using on the road for the next year anyways. Just a bit more pricey than mine, not much in it.

My next upgrade on my 172 is to fit a decent bucket seat. After admiring the Corbeau seats at the BHP show at Lydden Hill in May, I arranged to go down and see their range of seats at the Hastings premises. Dan was my advisor after giving him a call the day before, and was really helpful and...
stuck a couple Clio 172 stickers on the newly sprayed rear bumper, to cover the patches
Ordered a couple renaultsport 2 foot long stickers, to cover the rest
Always fancied learning a bit more about car control, so a skid pan experience seems a way forward (After i spun out at Brands recently- wet i may add)
Anyone done one, and what does it entail?
See that most have a full car of learners, or at least a passenger, then not sure if the driving takes...
Anyone going to this, or been before and can say what its like?
Just had an email popped in my inbox about it, and even though I am Donnington for FCS couple weeks later, still might pop up with the Mrs and go have a look. (300 mile round trip)
Does track time sessions too, so may have a couple...
what sort of time does the Club start arriving? As i will be there till late with the last track session, dont fancy getting there when the doors open, (7am?) as i usually do. Really looking forward to it, lets hope the weather is as nice as it is at the moment.
Lovely, never seen one yet. Was looking at the prices myself, but for an older type motor a bit high for me.
Love to see it sometime, you must pop down to Sussex :-)
Welcome to the Club
Few track visits Ive done in last couple months, havent seen any others with tools. Have to stash my box in a friendly vehicle, or leave unattended in a paddock.
Somebody said to me at Brands last week "Oh- youve got some tools" and seemed to be friendly on the basis i had bothered to bring...
Funny enough, i can see them all in the first post
My other halfs laptop cant see them tho
Glad peeps can see something....
If admin gets onto this thread, if they could delete everything and just leave the type on post #1 thatd be great
Just thought I would post up piccies of my bolt in rear half cage, that I got 6 x 6 inch plates welded in the strengthen the fixing location.
Just 4 positions- over the rear wheel arch x 2 and behind seats in footwell
Mark did a great job, decent price, and piccies tell the story. Anyone...
Ive always found it difficult to remove masking tape and paper when plastidip is applied, as the plastidip goes off after about a minute and when you peel the masking tape/paper back off, some of the plastidip goes with it
small area at a time i guess
Wowzer. I can get a resporay below a Grand. Not sure wht itd be like
Might get a large time of plastidib with the spray gun, plenty masking tape and blocking paper, and spray it myself:tonguewink:
